COVID-19 Update – April 2021
Based on ongoing guidance from Shotokan Karate of America, the Indianapolis dojo is still not accepting new members. However, with the increased availability of vaccines for the general population, we are hopeful that we will be able to accept new members this summer. Please direct additional questions to us via email or phone. We will update this message periodically as events change. Please stay safe.
Practice With Us
We’re happy you’re interested in learning about Shotokan Karate! We enjoy meeting new people, and attending practice is the best start! Anyone may participate. No previous experience is necessary. How to Join
With us, you can learn karate as it’s been taught in the United States for more than 50 years and in Asia for centuries before that—as a unique school of self-improvement through rigorous and focused training. Our training emphasizes karate as an art, not a sport.
We remain true to the traditional methodology handed down from master to master and generation to generation.
“The ultimate aim of the art of karate lies not in victory or defeat, but in the perfection of the characters of its participants.” (Gichin Funakoshi)
