Shotokan Karate of America and the Indianapolis Shotokan Karate Club dojo are non-profit organizations. However, fees are charged to meet the expenses of running the organization. SKA membership entitles a member to various privileges including training at any SKA or affiliated dojo, ranking, participating in special practices, tournaments and other events organized by the SKA.
What ages can practice/Is there a kids practice?
A: Regular practices, intermediate and advanced, are for ages 13 and older. Kids as young as 8 years old can join the Beginner’s class. Please call for kids class schedule.

Q: What will it cost to practice?
A: There are no term based contracts and Regular monthly fee will be $80. Family discounts available. All new members must have a gi (uniform) and join Shotokan Karate of America*.
*The SKA dues are $125 annually for all members
